Ice Skates

It was an emotional and beautiful skate off between Coleen and Donal that finally stopped Coleen’s dream. Both performed well but it was Donal that won all of the judges five votes and took his place in next Sundays final with Jess and Ray.

Coleen performed gracefully and touchingly to what was her wedding song, Shania Twain’s “still the one” but it couldn’t match the pace of the fast and furious routine Donal performed.

Coleen suffered injuries to her wrist and spine during the competition and wasn’t one of the best performers but she was very popular with the viewers something which on occasion annoyed the judges as better people where lost to save her.

Coleen told presenters Holly and Phil “It’s been amazing working with Torvill and Dean and I’ve enjoyed it so much. I’ve tried it on with Chris so many times but he’s not having any of it!” she then took to the ice and skated her lap of honour to rounds of applause.
